Directions

By Air

  1. –The nearest airport to the house is La Rochelle which is 45 minutes away by car. Ryanair flies direct from Stansted or Dublin, Flybe flies from Southampton, alternatively there are plenty of options from London/Manchester/Dublin to Bordeaux ( two hour drive).

By Train

  1. –The TGV from Paris to La Rochelle takes 3hrs 15 and you can hire cars from both La Rochelle airport and train station. You need to take the Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris, then change in Paris to catch the TGV down to La Rochelle. Fares start at about £200 but you can get quite a good deal on kids tickets

By Car
